In preparation of this blog I had the honor of being invited to watch one of the 2 rehearsals for the show. All I can say is WOW and I mean that in the biggest form and letters as possible.

Weird Designs – Moonlight in Black and White

You know how much I love Weird Designs.  Sheena Bennelli makes some awesome dresses.  She released the Moonlight dresses last week and I’ve been dying to blog them.  You know how it is – it’s so hard to get SL and RL to cooperate sometimes.  But here they are, finally.

This is the white version of Moonlight, and the texture is perfectly executed for the theme of the dress – it looks like dappled moonlight.  It’s also more than a bit sexy.  There are no glitch pants – only panties, and since it is a babydoll style dress, your butt will show if you have one of those AOs that are very bendy.  The sculpted flower on a thorn-like base with ribbons complements the dress nicely.  Moonlight also comes in black – take a look.

I noticed after gimping the above photo that the chest attachment had disappeared on the closeup picture.  I guess the pose made it disappear into my chest. lol  But dayum, no?!  So sexy!  For this outfit, I searched my inventory for Violet Voltaire coz I just love her jewelry with dresses like this.  They’re still some of my favorite pieces.  As almost always, I’m wearing a hairstyle from ploom that I just adore coz it has a color-change hairband and bow and a *skull*.  Hee hee.  In my (not so) humble opinion, ploom makes the best hair on the grid. I mean, just look at the shine on that silver hair!  (This is a non-compensated product endorsement, btw.  I have yet to receive review copies from ploom.)  Anyway, get your sexy butts down to Weird Designs and get these dresses!  If you’re on a budget, you’ll also find very nice group gifts and cheapies in the store as well, so no excuses!  ;)

60 Linden weekend with Ezura

Standing around and trying to look cool in a short green dress. But only managing to look like being pounting. The green dress will be in the 60 Linden weekend at Ezura this weekend. It comes with two skirts (for different attachment points) and on all layers. Dress: + ezura + Chahta Lolita Dress *Green (60 Lindens at the 60 Linden weekend)

The dress will be also available in brown and blue. I like very much how well the golden textures go with all the colours of the dress.

The blue used for the blue dress reminds me a bit on yves klein blue although its a bit to dark for that but only a bit. The skirts of all three dresses come with a resize script so they fit any avi (well not tinies or only with a lot of work).

Three wise monkeys

Normaly i always write little stories with the poses from No Strings Attached. But thats tricky when you don't speak. So no story to the three wise monkey poses from NSA. Its a log which let me think of those pictures with the black frame and a short sentence under them. The guys from 22769 are currently working on a surprise for the german national holiday. So when seeing their project in work and showing them the pose we made the picture below.
The log comes in two versions. One is the group one. The other is one for the single poses.

+++Blue Blood+++ Black Bacchanal

Yep, the Black Bacchanal is in town and once again Blue Blood is participating with two brand new outfits.  The first one, Fae is available for only L$113 each.

Fae features a sculpted and flexy skirt that moves nicely, but still retains its shape.  All hand-painted by Miss Uriza, of course.  Fae is available in pink, shown above, as well as green, purple, and ocre.

The second dress Ghani made for the event, which has a Fairy Tale theme, is called Tale and features a hand drawn painting of a fairy surrounded by typical objects from fairy tales.  It’s the L$13 gacha dress.

I love the bodice on Tale – it has a dreamy starry pattern.  Ghani called this a “mural dress” and that is such a great name for it.  It’s a dress that features a painted scene – perfect.  As you can see, it is also has a classic lolita skirt.  Tale comes in black, shown above, as well as purple, brown, and wine.

I’m also wearing some brand new shoes from G Field – the square toed Sophie pumps.    I just love G Field’s shoes so much – the price is always reasonable, the quality is fantastic, and there are always color-change options.

On the Sophie pumps, you can change the color of the edging and the buckles.  I’m wearing the black ones, but they come in many more colors as well.

Don’t forget that the Black Bacchanal is only in town for a few days, so get these bargains while you can!

Falling Autumn

I am most definitely in full on autumn mode! But in my neck of the woods, it's actually still pretty warm. Betty Doyle of Ingenue just released these wonderful Falling Autumn outfits, and these definitely give us the opportunity to enjoy autumn clothing without getting too hot.




Such an adorable jumpsuit! The long skinny jeans give you legs for days, and that knitted cowl is just too too wonderful! It would also be easy to pair up the jumpsuit with a sweater, or wear the cowl with just about anything. Love!

Lazy Places for Hair Fair

Hair Fair 2010

Hair Fair 2010 will open the doors tomorrow on four sims filled with fabulous new hair designs from some of Secondlife's old and new hair designers, all in aid of Wigs for Kids. The Hair Fair opens tomorrow and will run until 19 September 2010. This year it spans over 4 sims instead of two, dramatically reducing lag and there is also an inworld demo group so you can try the demo's before you even arrive there making for a better shopping experience.

On the 19 Septemeber is Bandana Day, which happens every year bringing the secondlife community together by everyone removing their hair and wearing one of the fantastic bandana's, not only created by secondlife hair designers but also members of the public. This year is no exception and the range of bandana's is spectacular, I was lucky enough to get an early visit to the site and here I have two of my favorite bandana's from Hair Fair 2010. The first is LoveMe Hair Bandana by Miamai, a beautiful red satin bandana with cute little hearts flowing out.

Next is the Bandana from Vanity Hair, a beautifully sequenced bandana full of sparkle and glamour, finished off with a sequenced flower feature on the right side. So much work has gone into Hair Fair 2010, from the designing of the sims to the designing of the fabulous new hairstyles from contributing designers, and not to mention the numerous bandana's on sale for only 50L. To get your hands on the latest and greatest secondlife hair designs, this is an event not to be missed.

Bare with me as there’s two events going on this weekend that I believe you should stop by and support if you can. The first one kicks off tomorrow and is the annual Hair Fair in support of ‘Wigs for Kids’. Money raised from the event will be donated to this very worth cause.

This year there is some fantastic male hair to take a look at, pick demo’s up and buy if you like them. I was like a kid in a sweetshop purchasing hair, and I know I’ve missed some stores so this is just a small selection that will be available from Saturday 4th September and will run till the 19th September.
